Reno

We got home from Reno Sunday and man were we glad to have our baby girl back in our arms. Lola stayed with my parents and had such a fun time! A few adventures we had in Reno were:
  • Going to Virginia City and seeing all the great little shops and old downtown. I think this may have been my favorite part of the trip.

Look at all these great vintage kitchen items, I got some old Ball jars and LOVE them! I hope to find more, for a better price than these ones were... it is a tourist town after all. {but I did wheel and deal and get a better price}

I loved this adorable toy store and we got Lola a couple new friends.

There was an old mine shaft in the back of one of the stores and they put this skeleton back there.

There was this old bar that had velvet wallpaper, old chandeliers and huge painted portraits of legendary cowboys/girls.

  • Went to some great outlets called LEGENDS
  • Played slot machines and carnival games at Circus Circus, we even won a few toys to bring back to Lou.

Betsy{mom in law}, Lori, Tony, Mike{dad in law} and I

  • Ate a lot of food and hung out with family and friends.

Thanks to Mike and Betsy for inviting us to go and for treating us to many meals, carnival games and more!! We had a great time but both Chris and I agreed that we don't need to do Reno again. We'd rather go to Vegas so we can have more options of things to do, like see shows, have tons of shopping and go to the wax museum. I'm not much of a gambler ;)
