The Open House

Last Saturday was the first official Open House/Party for Daris Day Shoppe! It went well and was a lot of fun. A huge THANK YOU needs to be expressed to my aunt Heather for organizing this whole thing, letting us use her house, coming up with the displays and taking pics of all the products, oh and doing some of the food. {Ya she is AMAZING!} also my cute mom who did most of the food and watched Lola while I made some of the headbands and during the party so I could help customers :) I also want to thank my friends and family that came. You don't even know how much your support means to me. I am truly humbled by all the things you sweet people do for me!

Here are some pics and don't worry, the only person we didn't get a pic of was.... ME! ha ha

If any of you would be interested in hosting a party for your family and friends, let me know. :)
The cute displays, thanks Heather. She also had the pics of them rotating through on her tv.
Mom, Heather, and Nicole, wearing their headbands and clip(I wish I got more of the people who were there, but I got busy...)
Zoe and Lola playing and wearing their headbands
The great food!! (this is not a requirement for throwing a party ha ha)

  1. Dari, I'm blown away with how many headbands you've made. You've worked those fingers to the bone I'm sure. That looks like it would have been a really good time!

P.S. I'm dying to give Lola's thighs a little squeeze in that picture of her!

  5. Dari, it's Chelsey, Rachelle Carling's older sister. I adore your headbands! I'm expecting a little girl (due next month) and would love to purchase a few. Should I go through your Etsy site? Or contact you. I agree with maybe hosting another open house. Both Shell and I would come as she's having a girl too! Let me know. My email is adventuread@sfcn.org. Thanks, ya crafty one.

  6. I love it! I wish I had a little girl to put cute things in her hair. Or..that I had straight hair so I could wear cute stuff. Or...that I could have made it to your party to eat all that good food. Hope everything is going great for you and your shop.
