Park City with the German

The last 6 days we have had a little visitor at our house.  His name is Martin and he is from Germany.  He was a foreign exchange student when Chris was a senior in high school and they got to be good buds while he was here.  The last couple of years he has come to the states escorting a group exchange students that are coming to live here in the states.  So while he is here he comes and visits his friends in Utah.

We have done some fun things while he has been here!  We have been trying to fatten him up a bit.  He always finds how much food we eat amusing.  I knew Americans are stereotyped as fat and lazy and impatient but this proves that in some ways we are.  ha ha   I know that is a bad stereotype and not everyone fits it OBVIOUSLY.  I wouldn't consider myself in that category but we do eat bigger meals than they do in Germany.

Yesterday we took Martin up to Park City.  He had never been there before.  We went to the outlets and to Main Street and ate lunch/dinner at Main Street Pizza and Pasta.  It was a lot of fun!  We got Lola a couple new pairs of kicks but that was it as far as shopping went for us.  She is growing like a weed, well her feet are at least ;)

She was so patient and held that sweet little cheeser until my slow camera took the picture.  Isn't she a gem?!

Chris and Martin
Martin is heading to Chicago this afternoon but it has been fun having him here for his annual visit.  Although I am kinda glad to not have to worry about running around my house in my "underwear" anymore.  I hate clothes while I am home ha ha TMI?  Thanks for visiting Martin!
