Of Mice and Kids

Here are some of the fun activities that happened over the last few days....

• Modest Mouse with Jeanette and Jesse {Chris had a softball game and couldn't come}  Great except for stinky hippies and people who don't understand the concept of personal space.  I guess that is what you get when a show is free and people start coming out of the woodwork. 

My facebook status summed up my feelings about the fellow concert-goers that night perfectly,

"Apparently I didn't get the memo about hippie sheik aka not bathing for two weeks being the new Indie/hipster must have style..."  Jeanette and I were not impressed!

• We took Lola to see Toy Story 3, it was a success! {I didn't really do my hair that day, and I am in my chubby not looking pregnant yet phase :( }

• We went out to eat with the in law's and I got treated to some new maternity clothes, HALLELUJAH!  {the old ones make me nauseous when I see them and my really fat pregnant body last time stretched them out, so they don't fit yet. ha} P.S. Thank you Heidi Klum for designing some cute clothes for motherhood maternity, I love the skinny jeans and capri's!

• Lola swam in her kiddie pool and ate loads of fruit snacks.

• SPAIN won the World Cup, as if you didn't already know that.  Chris was stoked!

• We got sod for the back yard!!! We are one step closer to finishing it :)  It is teeny tiny, but that is what you get with a townhouse.

I love these summer days!  So many fun things to do and much more to come.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer so far!
