Vintage Photos

My Mom's birthday was this last week and we went to lunch with her sisters and my Grandma to celebrate {it was also a celebration for my aunt Heather's B-day that was that same week} My aunt Julee gave them the neatest thing as part of their gifts. They were older pictures of them and some of their siblings... yes, just some of them, my mom is 1 of 10 kids. Wowzers, right? I loved my Mom's photo so much that I snapped a pic of it and had to share. I seriously couldn't stop looking at it!
In this photo: Uncle Brent, my Mom, and Aunt Julee. They are all about a year difference in age from one to the next. {you have to pump 'em out quick to have 10 ha!} They are all so cute! Brent looks like a starving Ethiopian kid. He is still skinny and can eat with the best of them! LUCKY!

It makes me treasure my photos that much more. We are so technologically ahead of their time and it seems that we document almost everything. What an amazing thing- to have so many ways to share our lives with those around us and especially for our posterity. I am sure Lola will have a hay-day looking through my old photos and blog posts someday. I know I will be glad that I documented them, even though it may seem silly, at times, now.
P.S. DON'T FORGET THE SALE REFERRED TO BELOW!!

  3. What a great picture. I love the belly shirts. I would love to be that young again. I want to run and not get tired. The late 80's - that's where it's at.
