GORDON B. HINCKLEY

I wanted to dedicate a post to our beloved Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley. What a great man? I always felt so at peace and inspired whenever I heard him speak. He truly was an inspired man. I especially love how he would direct advise and some of his talks to the youth. They are the future of this church and at one point we were the youth. I remember taking in what he would say and it made my "youth sized" problems feel so much easier to bear.

He was such a wonderful humanitarian and spokesperson for the church. I have never heard any person, whether a member or not, speak an ill word about him. He was very personable and accepting to anyone he came across. He gained a lot of respect for our church through being such a down to earth and happy person.

He has blessed the world by focusing on building temples. There are so many people out there who have to travel miles and miles and days to go to temples. {we are so lucky here in Utah!} But they now can go to a temple. Now there are many opportunities for people to do temple work where they couldn't before. What a blessing!

I just wanted to say how much I loved our beloved prophet. I know without a shadow of a doubt that he was the true prophet here on this earth. He lead us with such love and grace. He will be missed. I can't help but be happy though, that he is now with his sweet wife. :)
