Old Folk

I just started taking Citrucel.... you know, for those reasons. This all started after I had sweet little Lola, it's OK though, she is worth it!! {BTW did anyone else have issues with that after having a baby?} Don't even get me started on the fact that I couldn't feel the sensation of needing to pee for months... at least I wasn't peeing my pants, RIGHT?! I just had to go every few hours and assume it was time. I digress.
Well Chris makes fun of me and calls me and old fogey. But it got me thinking, "Am I the only person who takes old people nutritional supplements?" Do you guys do any old folks things? Not just taking a Fiber supplements, but other things as well...

  1. Having kids has nothing to do with that issue for me...at least you have the "since I had my baby" excuse that people will justify for about any shortcoming, mishap, or ailment on the planet...I can only blame it on just naturally having a poorly functioning system.

  2. I'm in a constant "where can I get more Fiber?" drive. And I always bring Mike a glass of water without being asked because I'm pro hydration. Does that count?

  3. I can't believe you are brave enough to drink that crap. I think it would make me throw up. I, on the other hand, have to take meds to slow my bowels down (well, not since being pregnant). I can't eat a lot of fattening foods because it makes my digestion speed WAY up. And you know, I had shingles like an 80-year-old according to the doctor. Yeah, I'd say I do my typical "old person" things. Thank goodness pregnancy seems to have put most of them on hold. I'm sure this will bring a whole new bag of goodies though. Oh joy!
