An Outfit To Share #16

Ok I promise I have been dressing in a decent manner but I always forget to take pics and I haven't bought too much new stuff lately so I don't want people getting too bored with what I share ha ha!  I actually have had a thought about sharing some fun kids outfit ideas as well.  So you may be seeing my cute kids making a guest appearance on these posts soon!!  They are a lot cuter and more fashionable than I am ;)

I have been loving the neon colors lately so I am trying to add some of them into my wardrobe's vocabulary.  The flowy-fit of the tanks are super comfy as well, can't go wrong with that.  Have you guys been incorporating them into your outfits?

An Outfit To Share #14

I had been wanting some green pants badly and had looked online and found some cute pairs but I am cheap thrifty and couldn't find a cute pair that I liked and felt good about spending X amount of money on.  The other night I was at Target exchanging some stuff so I had a gift card to spend.   I went browsing and low and behold, these darlings were on the CLEARANCE rack and were the last pair in my size!!  I was very excited as you can imagine and I decided I "needed" to get a shirt to go with them, which my sweet hubby agreed with so I found this top that same night.  Don't you feel like a million bucks in a new outfit?  A new outfit doesn't happen that often for me so I was one happy gal!

An Outfit To Share- #11 (Halloween)

{Sorry these next few posts are catch-up on Halloween stuff, I was busy last week and didn't finish and publish, so here they are :) }

Nothing special but I wanted to tie in the Halloween colors.  I REALLY wanted to dress up but didn't want to be the only one... I am a sissy.  But I have decided that next year I am going to set up a costume contest and make people dress up.  Because I know more folks would if they knew they wouldn't be alone :)

An Outfit To Share #9

I love it when boot season rolls around and with all the storms this last weekend, I decided it was time to bust out the wellies!!  I was excited!  It is supposed to get warmer again this week, which I am not complaining about, but I may have to put them away for a little while longer.  I love Fall time and am hoping we will get a longer one this year... but I won't hold my breath.

As you can tell, I have been slacking in the outfit posting area.  But you know what? I haven't felt like I have been that creative or had any note-worthy outfits lately.  I apologize.  I know I am no pro in fashion but I do think it is fun to share and get ideas from other people as well.  I hope you enjoy these posts as much as I do :)

An Outfit To Share #6

Ok I need some opinions... I wore this to work today and I have already had so many looks and comments on what I am wearing ha ha  My boss called my head scarf a "chemo cap", someone else said I looked like a gypsy (not a bad thing...) and I have had numerous shocked reactions.

I didn't really think I was going THAT FAR out on a limb.  But you know me, I wear what I want regardless of what others will think :)  I was reading my email from the Rachel Zoe Report (click to read) a few days ago and it talked about 'Savior Scarves'.  I loved them and I thought, "I have a scarf that would be perfect for that.  I have got to try it out".  I was running short on time today and didn't want to spend a lot of time doing my hair... hence the name 'Savior Scarf' and that is was.  I really like it, but between the scarf and the maxi skirt, it may be a bit much for the fashionably clueless folks that work here with me in North Ogden, UT {let me clarify; they aren't all clueless, but a lot of them... ;) }  So my point is, What do you guys think?  Do you like head scarves?

I have been loving the maxi dresses and skirts lately.  I even found an oldie maxi skirt in my closet that I am pretty excited about, but I am not sure I love the material... we shall see.  I found this dress for a steal of a deal and I feel cute wearing it too, that is always a plus.

An Outfit To Share #2

Here is another outfit, I am bad at remembering to take pics so these posts will be sporadic.  But that is ok because then there is no pressure on me to keep a schedule for these posts.
Outfit-
Floral Top- Magazine Brand from Ume Designs.
Cardigan- Tresics Brand from Ume Designs.
Jeans- Hudson brand Jeans from Nordstrom.
Shoes- Cynthia Vincent for Target. (you can't see them well above, so here they are below)
Belt- from BP in Nordstrom (again)

It is nice that some flair jeans are coming back into style because I love the jeans I above and now they are "fashion forward" again... I guess. ha ha

I must say that I don't love the white shirt that I have on underneath, but my religious underoos were showing at the neckline since the cardigan was so wide-necked and I had to make due in a hurry.  I will have to see what else I can figure out.

An Outfit To Share

I don't know if anyone will care about this or not... But I really like when people do fashion or outfit posts on their blogs. So I decided to try it out.

Apparently my belly posts turned into fashion posts for some of you nice friends that commented on liking the clothing I was wearing in those pictures. Oddly enough I had gotten really comfortable with dressing my baby bump and had a lot of fun trying to figure out cute outfits everyday. But now I am having a harder time trying to be creative with my non-belly outfits and my post-preg body. So I thought this may be a fun challenge to try and get my style going again!

The last few lbs of baby weight that I have, decided to concentrate to one area causing a rather sizable BIF, if you will, aka "Butt In Front" which is hard to dress (hide) and also makes it so that pretty much none of my pre-preg pants fit yet. But I will get there... I guess I should exercise or something... Wow I really went off on a tangent there, anyway here it is.

Me and Lola going out to lunch the other day with Dad and Owen.

My outfit
Shirt- J Crew
Sweater Vest- Nordstrom BP dept
Belt- Nordstrom BP dept
Boots- Nordstrom a few years ago

Sidenotes
Lola's whole outfit is from Baby GAP :)

Let me know if this is a fun idea to do every now and then or if it is not that interesting ;)
