A new and very disturbing discovery...

First of all HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Second- my freaking work has now blocked me from looking at everyone's blessed blogs. For those times I am bored out of my mind and want to see cute pics and get updates on my favorite people... I will just say it. Damn the man... a blog is not offensive or explicit in anyway (at least not the ones I look at) I am deeply saddened. So if you post new stuff, just remember how sad it makes me that I can't look at it :( Boo...

P.S. I also discovered I can't even look at my own to preview it and make sure it looks ok... so if it looks like shiz its not my fault.

The Dreaded Grove

This weekend Chris and I went to the Dreaded Grove with Scott and Ali. What's even better is that Ali works there selling tickets, so she got 4 tickets for free= Chris and I got in for FREE! That is my kind of price :) It was pretty fun, very family friendly... not that scary. But fun none the less! After that we decided we wanted to go on the "Swamp Ride" which is basically a ride on a 6 wheeler (kinda like a 4 wheeler, but bigger and with 2 row seats!) It is an amphibious vehicle, so you get whipped around this path of mud and trees then you go through the swamp water too. That was a little scary, we were a little teatery... Chris is a huge guy and Scott is pretty sturdy too. The driver said this was the heaviest load he had taken so the swamp part was a little scary... we had to keep leaning so the thing wouldn't tip over in the deep water ha ha But it was so much fun!

On Saturday, we hung out with my family. We went and saw "Dan in real life" and went to dinner at the Pizza Factory. It was a blast! Dan in real life was a very good movie. It was so cute and even Chris liked it ;)

Sunday was Chris' friend- Dave's homecoming. He did a great job speaking and it was fun to see our friends. A good weekend overall. I am getting sad that the Halloween season is almost over though. I love Halloween and am excited to dress up one last time, for this year, on Halloween!!

This trip was so much fun! I am glad I got to see Kristi and Dave and
get to know Lucy better as well :)

Halloween Begins!

Muah ha ha ha Halloween is on the way and our annual Braithwaite Family party was last Saturday. We usually go to this cute farm that has mini trains you can ride, but the weather was less than desirable so the farm was closed but that did not stop the fun. We had good soups, treats, costume awards, and a piniata. I should have taken some of the little kids taking their swings... oh well there is always next year.

Cooper as Mickey Mouse (I have never seen his eye do
that before ha ha)

Nicole, my sis as Betty Rubble

Ian (baby cousin, he is an Octopus) and Chris

Ian again, isn't he precious!

I went as a corpse bride and Chris was a distinguished author, so that was great. I didn't get good pics of us but we will have better photos of the actual Halloween to follow :)

Me and my Mom

Hoover the Hotdog (my Aunt and Uncle's dog) and Cooper, ya

What a great time with family!

Good Times and Good Friends

Last night I went out to dinner with Ashley and Madalyn. We used to live together in Old Mill back in 03-04 I believe it was. Ash and I have been friends forever but Mad, we met when we moved in. I love her! She has proven to be a friend I will stay in touch with forever.

We met at Iggy's in downtown Salt Lake, ate and chatted and decided when we were done eating that the night should not end yet. So we went to the Gateway and browsed and talked. We ended up at Barnes and Noble where Mad told me I had to buy "Good In Bed" by Jennifer Weiner. It is her favorite book and I told her she HAD to start reading the "Twilight" series by Stephenie Meyer. So we swapped ideas for good books and I am enjoying what little I have read so far :) It was fun for the 3 of us to reminisce about the old days and funny stories we hadn't heard in years. Those really were some of the funnest years of my life and I have these ladies to thank for some of that. These girls are both fabulous and I am glad to have them in my life!

MICHIGAN!!!

Ok so I am way behind... but I have not had a computer with internet to upload my pics to yet... because Chris can't find his camera cord and my computer at work doesn't have a place for a memory card ha ha But I stole a pic from Kristi to tide you over until I get the rest of them on here. Mind you the picture is awful and hilarious but will do ;)

Wednesday 10/10- I got up at the butt crack of dawn to get to the airport because my plane left at 6 in the am.... Flew all day and got to Michigan at 3pm (5pm here) with one layover in Phoenix. We went and grabbed a small bite to eat and it was off to Kristi's cute town house/condo. We just relaxed, played guitar hero and went and ran some errands. There are a lot more black people there then there is here obviously and at Walmart and Meiyer Kristi and I stuck out like a sore thumb ha ha

Thursday 10/11- LAZY DAY!! We watched trashy day-time TV aka Maury- whatever happened to his show... we watched movies and ate left over Indian food from the night before and cookie dough, yummy. That night we ventured out to Nordstrom, after Dave got home from school and could watch Lucy. I found some fabulous boots and some new Hudson jeans! Kristi found some cute jeans too. Then we tried to find Ikea but failed miserably and ended up in the "shoot em up" part of Detroit. We quickly turned around and headed back to where we came from! Then we ended the night by eating at Buffalo Wild Wings, but I wasn't in the mood to put that much effort into a tiny piece of meat, so I had a salad...

Friday 10/12- This day was fun! We decided to be ambitious and get ready before lunch (almost) We headed to downtown Ann Arbor. It was really cute down by campus (the University of Michigan, where her hubby attends dental school). They had great shops (Urban Outfitters, American Apparel, etc.) We looked around and ate lunch and I bought some great stuff at Urban Outfitters! We need one of those in Utah! I hope the rumor is true of one coming to the Gateway. That night we went to the Whole Foods Market and got some great sandwiches on Foccasia bread and mini pitas with hummus! We also rented a movie and watched that.

Saturday 10/13- Back to Nordstrom, to the "Free Tricky Hem Day", if any of you shop at Nordstrom, you know this is a great thing! Normally to do the original tricky hem alteration, it is like $18. So Kristi was all over that. Then we shopped at that mall, great stuff! H&M, Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, lots of designer stores too but I am not made of money ha ha. We grabbed some lunch looked some more and I got great shirts and a dress at H&M and we headed back. We were spent by this time so we took a nap and then Dave and Lucy joined us and we went to eat at a cute pub in downtown Ann Arbor. Yummy fish and chips with artichoke tater sauce... it was tasty!

Sunday 10/14- Church, they have a fun ward with lots of younger families because its a college town. We came home and relaxed and ate some food and then I was off to the airport around 4:40pm to catch my 6:00pm flight home. My flight in Phoenix was delayed so I didn't get home until after 1:00am... I was tired. So I took the next day off work as well to recoup and spend some time with my honey, whom I missed so much while I was gone.

It was such a great vacation and I was so glad to have the opportunity to go. I forgot to mention that Lucy loved me and followed me everywhere and would sit by me in the love sack all the time and would share my food with me ha ha she is a gem!

I am glad to be back to normal life though. I realized a lot more, how much I love Utah! I missed the mountains and the friendly people and the sunny days and the not so scary news on TV every night. It was very green there but I still love Utah nore :) Thanks Kristi, you sure are a great BFF!

My love

I saw this on someone else's blog and thought it was cute so I stole it :)

What is his name? Christopher Michael Perry

How long have you been together? almost 2 years now, married for a little over 8 months.

How long did you date? a year and 3 months, engaged for 10 of those months!

How old is he? 23, yes he is a year younger than I am

Who eats more? Oh he definitely does. But lately I have been eating like a fat girl. I need to stop loading up for hybernation. ha ha

Who said I love you first? He did and it scared me, I think I said "Thank you" the first time... I am a jerk.

Who is taller? Chris, he is almost 6'9" and I am 5'9". A foot between us :)

Who sings better? Me, but he is a pretty good singer as well.

Who is smarter? We're both smart, duh.

Whose temper is worse? His, but its not too bad.

Who does the laundry? We both do, but I prefer to because I am kinda particular about it and sometimes he ends up cleaning the same load twice ha ha

Who does the dishes? We trade off, again, I am kinda particular about pre-washing the dishes...

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? me

Who pays the bills? We both do, we split them pretty evenly.

Who mows the lawn? The lawn service people, HOA covers it!! Except for the backyard but thats tiny, so Chris mows it.

Who cooks dinner? We both do, but we also eat out more than we should. So a lot of the time its Cafe Rio, Mandarin Palace, or Taco Bell HA

Who drives when you are together? Chris mostly unless he wants me to.

Who is more stubborn? We both are...

Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? Chris because I am usually still mad and would rather not talk about it.

Whose parents do you see the most? His because they live maybe 5 minutes up the road. I wish we saw my family more. Gas is expensive.

Who kissed who first? Chris kissed me and he was way nervous ha ha

Who asked who out? Well technically he asked me out first but I am the one who made the first contact after we met. I didn't know if he even thought I was cute because we met at a party and didn't get to talk much but I thought he was cute. So I sent him a message on myspace and it all started from there ha ha

Who proposed? Chris

Who is more sensitive? Chris, he is a dear heart. But I cry at commercials and stuff, I have a tender heart for sad or sweet stuff.

Who has more friends? Not sure, we both do a pretty good job at keeping in touch with our friends.

Who has more siblings? me I have 4 and he has none.

Who wears the pants in the family? ha ha I hate to say this but... maybe me. Not in a bad way.
